Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for Buy Pouches Canada is Second Brain Consulting. You can contact them at sales@secondbrainconsulting.co.

What is collected and why

When you sign up with a form on this site, Second Brain Consulting collects your email address so it can send you shop updates from Buy Pouches Canada, including news of the shop launch and new guides. Emails are always sent from Buy Pouches Canada. The next sections say who stores your address and what analytics are collected.

Each sign-up also records which page and form the address came from, the wording you agreed to, the time, the website that sent you here, any campaign tags in the link, your country, and a scrambled one-way code made from your IP address that is used only to stop abuse. Your IP address itself is never stored.

Analytics

We use PostHog to measure how this site is used. PostHog records the pages you read, how far you scroll through an article, and the links and buttons you click, including clicks on page elements that are recorded automatically. It also records when you leave a page, when a page cannot be found, and whether you arrived from an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Perplexity.

Session recording is switched off on this site, so PostHog does not record a replay of your visit. Analytics events never include your email address, the contents of any form, or health information.

Who receives your data

Your sign-up is stored in the SEO Maxxing dashboard database (Supabase), which runs the sign-up forms on this site and processes sign-ups for Second Brain Consulting. It holds the data for Second Brain Consulting and uses it only on the instructions of Second Brain Consulting.

Analytics data is processed by PostHog for Second Brain Consulting, so the use of this site can be measured and improved.

How long it is kept

Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted. When it is deleted, a scrambled one-way code made from it is kept so that the address is not added again.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Withdraw your consent

To withdraw your consent and have your email address deleted, write to sales@secondbrainconsulting.co from the address you signed up with. Your address is deleted. A scrambled code made from it is kept so that it is not added again, and the record of the consent you gave is kept without your address.

Browser storage

The sign-up forms keep one entry named saeo_capture in the local storage of your browser. It remembers which version of a form you saw, when you closed one, and whether you signed up, so the same form does not keep appearing. It is not shared with anyone, and the forms set no cookies.

PostHog keeps an identifier in the local storage of your browser and in a cookie so that separate visits can be told apart. It holds no email address and no form contents.
